Cycle for sick children

Adult Super Heroes:

Kinsale Community School, via the Old Head, Courtmacsherry, the Seven Heads to Clonakilty Hospital for refreshments and return via Ballinspittle – 100 kms.


Adult Heroes:

Kinsale Community School, Old Head Garratstown. Refreshments at G town "Pitch & Putt" and return via Ballinspittle. – 25kms


Children Heroes:

Kinsale Community School, Old Head Garratstown. Refreshments at G town "Pitch & Putt" and return via Ballinspittle. – 25kms


  • Water/Snacks on route.
  • Parking provided
  • Certificate of achievement
  • Gift for your bike
  • Prizes for first three Adults
  • Rules of the road apply and Helmets must be worn.

We could not ask for better scenery than along either of these routes!

This is the first year of our child sponsored cycle with admin fee of €2 and we will post out your sponsorship cards. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.


Kinsale and District Lions’ Club is totally voluntary with all monies raised going directly to the charitable causes. No administration costs are ever diverted away from this.
